I think Semuc Champey in Guatemala is Heaven on Earth. Is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. A totally worth hike will take you to the top of the mountain to get this view of the natural pools formed by years of erosion. The very best definition of #GreatOutdoors

"Staff were really friendly and helpful. Rooms were great for the price - no a/c but fan provided in the room, beds are quite firm (but I like that). Had booked cabin with private bathroom - tin roof could be quite noisy with things falling from the trees - but didn’t bother us too much. Two swimming pools - that seem warmer than the river. Great area to relax on and water slide into the river itself is good fun. Restaurant and bar are very reasonably priced. Only thing that would really make this place amazing would be hot water for the showers. :) parking is pretty straightforward."
