Good

Staffs were kind and helpful, and I could meet some nice backpackers. There are many shops and restaurants around hostel. You can walk to palace and some market area and museum. Bread was served in the morning. Kitchen was compact, heater had issue on displaying power level, but kind staff helped to introduce the way to use. Wifi was good, room was comfortably air conditioned. Pricing was fair, good for budget backpackers. I’d like to visit again when I have chance to travel to Seoul again.

Great place and great atmosphere. The locations is a perfect mix of a quiet area with easy access to a lively night life. The staff are amazing and willing to help you with anything they can. My only complaint is that the beds are not as soft as you’d like. It was difficult for me because i have a back condition. Additionally, since i stayed in the summer months (June, July) the hotel seemed extra hot during the day. However, they offer AC service in each room(500 won for an hour) which cools you down whenever you need it. Overall, an 4.5/5 experience for me. I would stay there again in my next visit to seoul

A Hidden Gem

A quiet hostel tucked away on a side street, but with easy access to lots of restaurants, shops and just over five minutes walk to the metro. All the staff are very helpful and speak excellent English. The hostel is spotlessly clean, with clean towels usually provided each day. Breakfast is provided each day - toast, jam and tea/coffee - and there provide a laundry service also. My only fault is with the beds. In the dorm rooms they have metal bunk beds which creak every time one moves on them, which isn't conducive to a good night's sleep. If they could fix that it would be a great place.

春先、秋なら快適。

個室を選びました。通してもらった部屋は広く、使い心地が良かったです。ランドリーは洗剤も一緒に置いてあり◯です。 他にも食器や水、冷蔵庫と共用ですが設備は良かったです。 悪い点は、エアコンがついていない事。トイレスペースにシャワー(本当に狭い)、シャワーが水とお湯が交互に出てくること。 以上の点から、真冬、真夏はやめた方が良いと思います。加えて、トイレ&シャワーはユニットバスより衛生的に良くない環境だと思うので、神経質な方は遠慮した方が良いです。オーナーは気さくで優しいので、現地の人とコミュニケーションとりたい方にはおススメです。

While the room and facilities were clean and the staff was very nice and eager to answer any questions, the atmosphere was much louder than I was expecting. Even though my room wasn't right next to the common room, you could still hear people talking loudly all hours of the night. Quiet hours are not enforced and so it was difficult to fall asleep and get enough rest. Offering toast as breakfast is nice of the hostel but it is only available until 10.

Inside but where inside exactly?

A friend and I booked a bunk twin with shared bathroom for one night. We arrived a little before 3pm check in and waited in the common area. The staff arrived exactly at 3 to check us in. We didn't get to stay in the main building but were taken to an annex as part of a public apartment block about 3~4 mins walk away and told it was an upgrade. Guess this was because it had ensuite shower room? Anyway it was up 4 flights of stairs and no lift, we both had suitcases and backpacks. Not ideal. The room was clean and functional, small kitchen included. We asked what the price to stay an extra night was and we were told 11,000₩ more than online, so we left. Did not go for breakfast as it was in the main building.
