The location was very convenient and right across Namdaemun Market only 10mins walk to myeongdong. City Hall Metro is also only 8mins walk away too. The airport limousine bus stop is only around the corner. The room was clean. The owner is lovely and laundry available on site also.

I loved the location of the hostel because it was very close to the airport bus station and other popular attractions! So the location was very convenient. However, the room wasn’t super clean and I felt like it could’ve been cleaner but it seems as if they didn’t put enough effort to make it cleaner. Overall, it was an okay stay!

Weird, nauseating smell that permeated the room, couldn’t open window to air it out. Black and pink mold all through the bathroom. Strange stains on walls. Bed not comfy. When I find myself wiping grime and dust off an aircon while on holiday so I can try and sleep without sneezing and coughing, that’s a final straw. We moved accommodation 1 night into a 3 night stay. You have a good location - invest in the renovations.

For the price I paid it met all my needs and I had a good stay. I was just looking for a place with privacy to shower and sleep. A few things to know. The the hotels on the 4th 5th and 6th floor. 6th floor is reception and also I think the owners live there so the kitchen area is there personal kitchen area. I would come in late and they would be having dinner. This didn't bother me though. The owner husband was very friendly and spoke English. The restaurant in the same building on the first floor had very delicious bibimpap (a rice bowl with a mix of beef and vegetables with an egg on top). If you arrive late they have your key waiting on the counter so you can go to your room when you arrive. It is just a few buildings down side street. However the sign is not lighted so if you come in late you it is the 3 gate

Just as good as last time!

Second time staying here and just as easy/comfy as last time. I really like the location and the staff person was very friendly. The space was just right. I like that there is a hot/cold water station in the hallway. It could be jarring for some regarding the bathroom as it’s the entire room.

Air conditoner was bad so we suffered from warm room. Unfortunately when you take out the room key everything shuts down so when you return it takes very long time to get little air that we got from air conditioner. I loved the people who owned and managed the property. Location was very convenient and close to transportation.

Pros: excellent location for visitors. Close to the South Gate traditional market, the city hall, the palaces, pickup point for the city tour bus, walking distance to the central train station, galleries, etc. You can use the on-site washer and dryer on the top floor. There is a small shared kitchen. Cons: really small rooms, small bathrooms. There was no one during check-in. The older gentleman walked by without saying a word or providing information until I asked in Korean. For the price and the convenient location, it was worth 3 stars.

The room didn’t have window. It was cramped tiny room with poor ventilation. I felt claustrophobic and very uncomfortable. Also no bed sheets, just a duvet on the bed. Bathroom had a mold. Needs a lot of cleaning!
