Avoid staying for 3 reasons:
1. They turn off A/C when it isn’t summer. We stayed in fall and our room was 27 degrees Celsius and I was told to open my window instead. They brought a fan which kept it down to 25 which is still way too warm for me. This alone is enough to avoid this place.
2. The hotel is old and outdated. Thin walls, I heard our neighbour sneeze. Toilet barely flushes. The sink and the tub both were nearly clogged and slowly drained.
3. Not in Myeongdong touristy area. It is about 25 minute brisk walk to the shopping myeongdong area. The area it’s located in is a sketchy commercial area that is really not pleasant to walk around.
I gave it two stars as the only pro was it was close to 4 subway lines (around 8 minute walk) which was easy to get around the city.
Low budget hotel don’t stay here unless it’s super cheap which is what this hotel is.
