"Traveled with family. We stayed in chalet 1. This included 3 bedrooms, 1 of which has its own bathroom and shower. There is a patio in that room as well. The other 2 rooms were spacious and all beds were comfortable. The downstairs has 2 full bathroom and showers. This was nice as each family had their own space. Additionally, this specific chalet, has 3 designated parking spots which was confirmed with the staff. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware. The entire place was nice and clean...

Loved that Heavenly Village was walking distance and there were plenty of electric scooters to rent in the area if you’re feeling lazy to walk. The only real downside for me was how soft the bedding was. Mattress and pillows were too soft for my taste and I couldn’t really get a good nights rest. "We had a fantastic stay at Black Bear Lodge. The lodge is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning wooden interior that gives it a real mountain lodge feel. It was incredibly peaceful and the perfect place to relax and unwind. The location was ideal too, tucked away in a quiet setting but only a short drive from local shops, restaurants and other amenities. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"The rooms are spacious, modern, and have everything you could possibly need. We loved all of the fire pits around the property and the nightly s'mores. The large grass lawn was awesome for lawn games for the kids and the pool / spa were amazing as well."

"The room was clean and very cute however there was no one at the front office when we got there and their maintenance man saw us in the parking lot asking for our contact info without ever telling us who he was. He was trying to be helpful but I except someone to be available at the office upon check in. In addition there was work being done in the room above us and all kinds of of banging happening until 11 at night and then again starting at 6 AM"

"Loved that they are dog-friendly. Front desk/bar server gal working the night shift on Saturday, 6/27 was not very pleasant. She seemed annoyed the two short interactions I had with her. The boys enjoyed the smores’ treat. Bummed the hot tub was not working but still had to pay the “resort fee”. Good location, 10 min walk to Target, Starbucks and plenty of restaurants."

"We like the proximity of the location to the lake and the village. We love that they had scooter access if you so choose too and did not want to walk. We did not have cleaning service and there was six of us and so there was a shortage of towels but we were able to go to the front desk and get a few a day. I would recommend bringing your own towels whether for the pool or the beach. They do have a nice discount for the beach versus what the public pays."
