"Our spacious room was located on the third floor overlooking the pool and the bay. Unlike many resorts, the room had generous closet space for both of us. We were greeted by name upon arrival, and I appreciated the upgrade. We dined at both resort restaurants and sampled the sushi at another. We enjoyed the fresh desserts and pastries at the bakery and coffee shop. We used the gym everyday and had a blast on the beach. The concierge arranged a driver and guide for a day trip to Paraty. I highly recommend it. In addition, I was able to hike along a trail in the resort that led to a waterfall. The grounds throughout are immaculately maintained. I appreciated the staff bridging my sparse Portuguese and for allowing me to practice improving my language skills. I thank the housekeepers who ensured our space was always organized and well maintained. There is a great selection of breakfast choices either in the buffet or available on the menu. The maitre d’ was welcoming and always accommodating. Barthelemy’s is a wonderful men’s apparel shop. Be sure to check it out in the resort shopping section. After three nights, I felt completely rejuvenated and ready for the next leg of our journey through Brazil."

"The room was good enough, however there was mold on the walls. The host was amazing and he helped me arranged everything, the breakfast was very good as well. However the location is about 25 minutes taxi driver from the historic center which will cost you a $20 taxi. And therefore you will have to pay that every time you want to come into the marina and take a tour. And then going back as well. The area where the posada is located is not very busy and it can feel a bit scary if you want to walk by yourself. The posada concept is great, and the host is also great, however if you want to do tours from the marina and spend time at the historic center of Paraty, you should book a posada within at least 10 minutes drive from the History center and the marina. The wifi worked good, the hosts and breakfast was really good, but please do know that you can not walk to the historic center and the marina or PAraty, you will need to pay $20 or more taxi to get there. "
