"We stayed in the most extraordinary room I have ever seen. All four windows overlooked the rooftops of Bologna. The light at all hours was like a painting. The remote control shades gave you control of the amount of light you experienced. It was complely private but you could see the cathedrals and towers unobstructed.
The staff was minimal but very helpful and gracious. The linens were clean and high quality. An extraordinary place."

"Good hostel. Location was about 10-15 minute walk from what would be considered the centre (Piazza Maggiore) and on quite a busy street - not reflected in the noise levels though.
I think having physical, metal keys added to the noise because people were banging them on the door when trying to open it etc. other than that, noise levels were good.

Always got the feeling that the owner sincerely cares about the customer and that the importance of the almighty $ is down the list.
