"Not the best hotel. Aging. Beds too soft. Musty smell. “Just ok”."

"Historic Inns of Annapolis has three properties; we stayed at the Calvert House. The building was lovely, and beautifully restored. The room was beautiful and spacious, although the bathroom was a little cramped. The location was unbeatable - across the street from the old Capital, and walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and the harbor. You are pretty much limited to valet parking, which is pretty expensive, but they were very quick in retrieving our car when we called for it."

"We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. The complimentary breakfast had a great variety and was a perfect way to start each morning. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!"

"The room was small and musty. Repairs to walls in the bathroom not finished. No air conditioning in the fitness room - and the peloton display wasn’t working. Also, no water cups or towels in the fitness room. Parking wasn’t available so we had to go down the street. Not up to Hilton standards at all."

"Breakfasts were ok. Bar needs to be opened Earlier maybe 3:00. Housekeeping was sadly lacking. We stayed 5 nights. On the 3rd day we had to ask for towels and trash removal since household had not been there since check in. They came with towels and emptied trash, that’s all. Never had clean towels after that. Our, bathroom was never cleaned, no new beverage glasses provided at all. Bed never made entire stay. Informed front desk at check out. Clerk was nice and apologized."

"We have stayed here many times over the last 20 years give or take. Two years ago the property was on need of a serious update! I am glad to say the property has been refreshed!! Looks great! Everything was in working order, no maintenance issues at all! Great location for all things Annapolis related!"

"We will not stay there again. Staff were slow and rude. We called about the AC not cooling the room and the staff said there was no maintenance and offered a refund. When we first entered the room there was a big puddle just inside the front door from when they power-washed the entire outside. A miscellaneous charge appeared on our card after our stay which the manager could not account for so we had to cancel our card. Booked the stay because they advertise connecting/adjoining rooms but when...

"Staff were great, breakfast was good, parking easy, our room was too bright overnight due to not having dark curtains to draw to block out the lights from the parking lot. There are light sheer curtains you can draw but not the typical heavy curtains to block light. "
