"The facility is run my children. Literally. We returned after a day out approximately 10 pm. Turned over the cover to find dried blood on it. Called the front desk. Housekeeping had already gone home. The front desk male was mortified and didn't know what to do. The front desk female then came up and changed our sheets. No message from management or apologies the next day. On a broader note. We asked for thinner bed cover instead of the thick duvet. Hotels don't seem to carry...

"We absolutely loved our stay here! We were a bit nervous with the mixed reviews however we were pleasantly surprised that everything exceeded our expectations. Room is well decorated, very clean, and spacious. Location couldn’t be more central, very close to the infamous Santa Cruz neighborhood. Access to the free laundry machine on the ground floor was super nice as well! Only slight drawback is that when the occasional service vehicle or pedestrian jaunt through the narrow cobblestone street...

"Superb position, next to the Alcazar palace and a very short walk to the cathedral. The staff were very friendly, nothing too much trouble for them. We were able to check in to our room early. The breakfast was really lovely with loads of choices from the menu and also yogurt, fruit and orange juice available too. Our room was on the outskirts of the palace and had Roman ruins under the floor, which you could see through glass."

"A beautiful hotel in a great location. So serene and yet so close to restaurants and shops. The staff was wonderful - helping us find places to eat and tour. We would definitely stay there again."

"Amazing hotel in a very central location. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the staff were incredible — they genuinely couldn’t do more for you. The pool and bar were perfect additions and exactly what you need after a hot day. Do bring mozzie spray though; I got eaten alive (not just at the hotel). Highly recommend this place and will definitely stay again. 5 stars"

"Very good hotel, clean, we had room on 13th floor with balcony and beautiful view over city. Room was very specious with all you need to enjoy your stay. Breakfast was delicious. Location is not very close to all main attractions, but walkable, about 15-20 minutes to old town. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would come back."
