"Family room - the room, beds and shower room all clean. Plenty of pillows with the option of firm and soft, duvet is a little small for the bed and the one on the sofa bed was also too small if 2 sharing, so you may need to request extra ones. Aircon is fab for the summer kept the room lovely and cool. Sofa bed is a tight squeeze for 2 children but bed has plenty room for 2 adults. "Lovely situation - large room that was clean. However walking in it felt quite down at heel, a bit like a scruffy airport waiting area. We ate in the restaurant on arrival - the food was edible. However, the staff at reception and in the restaurant were welcoming and attentive."

"Great value and good quality throughout. Room was a good size, well equipped and clean. Plentiful parking and gardens were immaculate. Restaurant was more of a pub style theme and good value with a good selection for breakfast for the breakfast serving."

"The Kiln Hotel in Wakefield has the look and feel of a run down American Motel that has been abandoned several decades ago.
