Good for the Basics

Adequate room with all the basics. Comfortable bedding, toiletries, and good lighting. The AC was insufficient for the extraordinary cold last weekend, but under normal circumstances, it is probably enough. WiFi is reliable and front desk provides assistance though limited English support.

Ottimo hotel in Shanghai

Hotel pulitissimo, silenzioso, vicino alla fermata della metropolitana. Nei dintorni si trovano ristornatini, negozi, alimentari e shopping malls. Anche il rapporto qualita` prezzo e` davvero soddisfacente.

Overall nice, cheap, clean budget hotel

Softest bed in China (beds are usually VERY hard, theirs moderately soft). Chinese friend said JinJiang is clean throughout China. She was right, it was clean, laminated floor helped. Non smoking floors. Location was great. HuaiHai East Rd and others bus stops very close. #8 metro two blocks away. Lots of local food near by. Very helpful staff, but not sure if they speak English. Wi-fi in lobby, unless you ask for a plug-in for room. No frig. Overall nice, cheap, clean budget hotel.

i enjoyed my stay here, location, cleanliness good. Simple, not much bells and whistles, no internet in the room unless you have rj45 cable. BEST VALUE for location.

Excellent value and good location

The breakfast buffet is also goood value. Good variety and very clean. The only area for improvement will be more English TV. There is only 1 English out of 40 Chinese TV channels. The room exceeded my expectation. It's clean, safe and quiet air conditioner.

Adequate for a short stay

Recently stayed here for 2 nights...staff is not particularly friendly, but they were efficient. Rooms were fairly large for an inexpensive Shanghai hotel. Rooms were clean and spartan. Walking distance to the "Bund". I would stay here again.

Perfect base

Simple and straight forward service offering. You know what you will get for a good price. We needed a good base for our stay in Shanghai: clean room, a good bed, good shower and toilet and central in the city close to public transport. All boxes were ticked. Breakfast was genuine Chinese, which meant for us (more western orientated) that is was a a little too localised. But there are multiple alternatives nearby. So if you need a good base without other thrills, this a perfect place to go.

Good Location,bring your own shampoo and body wash

From Shanghai Pudong International Airpor --> MAGLEV TRAIN(cost $50,$40 with Public Transportation Card) + Metro Line2+ Metro Line8(cost $4)+Walk -->Hotel, about 1hr 24hrs cafe & bakery, 24hrs supermarket, ,many restaurants, banks, 3C department stores near by Please bring your own shampoo and body wash, it's better not to use them from the hotel. Bring a laptop, there is Internet LAN Cable in the room (free). Otherwise, you can use the PC in the lobby. FB on PC is blocked by China, you can go FB from your 3G mobile phone.

館内、室内はきれいで機能的で概ね満足しました。 気になったところを3点だけ。 ・室内に冷蔵庫がありませんでした。 ・浴室はシャワーのみでした。 ・チェックイン時に500元をデポジットとして預けましたが、 クレジット決済を既にこちらのサイト上で済ませているにも 関わらず、チェックアウト時に、宿泊料金を引かれた残額を 渡してこられたので、「既にカードで払ってますよ」と指摘しました。 そのスタッフの女性が英語が理解できないのか、困っていたので、上のスタッフを呼んで、事情を説明して、ちゃんと500元を返してはもらえましたが、その辺はスマートに手続きさせてほしいものです。

Clean, new, well located, but no English

Good location. The room was very clean and had all the basics we need to expend a confortable night. Everything was new. The towels were very thin, but they did the job. We had LAN internet conection in the room. NO ONE spoke English! So we could not find help for writing down directions for taxi drivers or any recommendation from the hotel staff. They did not have maps of the city in English, only Chinese, this also made things a little more complicated.
