"Rooms in the original hotel are upstairs... 31 stair steps up to the second floor. I never went to the third floor but there's a staircase for that, too. There are also staircases outside for guests who wish to enter or leave without going through the bar or dining room entrances. My room (#207) has a private bathroom with sink and toilet in a 3' x 3' cubby, plus a separate shower in a similarly-sized adjacent space. The room is small, but with a comfy queen-sized bed. "Only problem was my android phone cannot connected to hotel wifi. My sister's iPhone had no problem but android bloke connection, not even let me enter the password. Hotel had provided technician phone number, but since I only stay one night, no wifi was not a big problem. I hope hotel can consider it, and fix problem before let customers make that phone call."

"It's dated, but was clean old charm with old smell, I always travel with air freshener so that helped, pillows to flat, not much to choose for restaurants on this main street. It was a 20 minute drive to Burney Falls and hour drive to Mt Shasta , that's why we picked this location."

"Our room was clean and comfortable. We did find the accordion doors over the bath tub that opened into the bedroom an interesting design choice and one we did not use. We did walk through the casino on the way to the restaurant and understand that smoking was allowed inside the casino. It just isn't something we are use to, so we found the cigarette smoke overwhelming. We did eat at the restaurant, Seasons, but we would not recommend the food.
