"This is such a gem! Our room was brand new with a beautiful small kitchenette. Very comfortable, clean and very easy to check-in. I really liked the informal check-in process and the property manager stays in contact and directly sends you info to get into your room. Very reasonable as well. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!"

"The property was conveniently located and surrounded by retail stores and dinner options. Staff was extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. However the room was disappointing. The kitchen and bathroom showed signs of wear and tear, not all electric outlets were working and the hair dryer was also not working…luckily I brought my own. Lack of attention to detailed cleaning as we found cobwebs near the air conditioner and under the lamp shades."

"What a wonderful stay. From the abdolutely nice place , beautifuly mentained, to a absolute clean room ,to a very nice loby room with all the amenities needed. The baggels and especialy the raspberry spread that was delicious, not to mention the hospitality the owners oferred was bar none. Mike made sure everybody and everything was great for a nice quiet stay. That makes it for a come back for sure. Absolutely reccomend this wonderful place 100% !!! "We had a wonderful stay at the Old Lantern Inn in Charlotte VT. Our room was large with a king and a twin bed and views of Lake Champlain. The inn was very quiet and clean. We can’t say enough about the innkeeper Lisa; she went above and beyond to ensure that not only were our needs met, but our expectations exceeded. Continental breakfast is modest but tasty. There are only 8 rooms in the inn and it has a family feel. Guests seem to really enjoy talking to other guests & sharing local...

"Ultimately, a decent stay.But honestly, you get what you pay for here. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. The pool area was nice and clean and warm! The continental breakfast could be more than a couple of packaged muffins and granola bars, and maybe some options in the tea area, but otherwise, okay. It's definitely outdated, but is a solid hotel. It could use new carpeting and bathroom amenities... i'm pretty sure what's here has been here since the place was built, but everything is...

"The toilet didn't work properly. We called the desk and asked for someone to come up to fix it. No one ever came. We found a cleaner in the hall and he assured us he would fix it. He did not. We returned many hours later and thought the problem had been addressed. It had not. The toilet overflowed. The 2 staff on duty came up to the room and did not assist. Either they didn't want to or the didn't know how. They gave us a plunger and we fixed it ourselves in about 30 seconds. We asked for a mop...

"First of all the light when we walked into our room didn’t work and it was very dark so that was dangerous. On the outside of our room there were garbage bags that were open. We didn’t use the continental breakfast because it was pouring rain and we would have had to walk to it. It seemed all the guests were bringing in dogs!!!! The set up inside was nice and the bed was very comfortable."

It was close to downtown Burlington which we liked and the price point was good. A/C was not great as it would get hot and then too cold, very irregular instead of temperature being maintained at 1 set level."
