"Fantastic ocean beach view from the balcony! Could see Wilmington buildings a few miles to the South. Shell Island Resort is at the end of the beach road! Walk the beach 1.5 miles northward the the ocean "river" flowing into the salt water marsh...Amazing!"

"Ive stayed at this hotel several times and will keep coming back. Our room was clean and the front desk staff were friendly and professional. The pool was undergoing repairs and so not usable. Also, i had to call the desk for toilet paper, as we had only half a roll and no extras. Breakfast choices were really good, including eggs, sausage, hash browns, waffles, fruit and yogurt. Good experience overall."

"The breakfast is the typical Hampton Inn fare. Had something from each category of breakfast foods. All well heated, frozen preprepared, such as small tin omelets with a cheese inside, thin bacon, sausage gravy and biscuits, and waffles you make from batter."

"We recently stayed at the Element Hotel in Wilmington, NC and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is beautiful with a modern design and stylish furnishings that create a clean, comfortable atmosphere. Our room was well-appointed, the bed was very comfortable, and the in-room kitchen was a great feature. Having filtered water available was also a nice bonus. "Excellent room with great ocean view. Very comfortable mini efficiency was well appointed kitchen items. "

"The room was a great size for the price. Clean but carpets could use replacing or steam cleaning. Stained! Pillows and mattresses were way too soft. After few days of sleeping on them our necks and backs were killing us. Had to ask for towels every day. Breakfast was good, very attentive kitchen staff. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful."

"The room is spacious and clean. The facilities are well maintained and the staff are helpful. The hotel also locates at a very quiet location so I had a good sleep. The only disappointment is the breakfast doesn’t have much to choose. If I remember correctly it has less items then other Hampton I lived. Overall, a good place to stay for traveling Wilmington and Carolina Beach."
