We had a pleasant stay at Plaza Hotel Premier Fukuoka. The room was the usual compact size for a Japanese hotel, but the central location was excellent — perfect for exploring the city.

THE BASICS FUKUOKA
The hotel feels a bit aged, but it is in a very convenient location. VIP access includes free parking; however, we had to bring it up myself to avoid being charged. The experience would be improved if the staff could proactively check on parking and briefly introduce the VIP perks during check-in. ...

JR KYUSHU HOTEL Blossom Hakata Chuo
Perfect location, just a few minutes’ walk from Hakata Station. Be sure to use Exit 18, which leads directly beside the hotel and is especially convenient on rainy days.
