"The pool area is unique and fun with a large Baja ledge and permanent sun loungers in the water. It is clean and inviting. Staff are extremely accommodating, anticipating your needs and helping whenever the can. The Apex is fun with unusual games for adults and kids and the 3 level go cart ride is wonderful! There is even a level of nonsmoking casino. The restaurants offer a nice range of choices at reasonable prices. Can’t wait to return. "

"Pros: Great check-in (we arrived around 9p, so not busy, but very pleasant interaction); room was completely redone - modern bathroom, laminate floors and a retro feel to the living space, which was super fun compared to the standard cookie-cutter rooms available nearby; comfortable lounge chairs placed in clusters around the property and lights along the building perimeters complimented the retro feel. "I’ve stayed at pretty much every hotel around rancho for work, and honestly, california inn has the best location, right in the city center and close to everything. you really can’t beat the prices either. I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt bad seeing so many negative ones. it’s really not that badl, it’s rancho! the only downside is they don’t serve breakfast or even coffee, but there’s a starbucks right next door."

"The lady at the desk was very friendly and welcoming. Can hear some outside and through the wall noises but overall was quiet. The room was clean. We enjoyed having the microwave, mini fridge, and the coffee maker! "
