"The location of the hotel is perfect for walking to restaurants or just taking a stroll through downtown. Our room was clean and very well decorated. While having a waterfall shower was great, there was only a partial glass wall and no shower door, so naturally when you shower there for is getting extremely wet. I would recommend bringing your own snacks, because the snacks they provide in the room are very pricy. The staff was super friendly!!"

"We would absolutely stay here again. It was a great location close to great restaurant options and pretty views of the downtown and water. In the reviews I read the biggest complaint was the noise level. You could clear as day hear any conversations of other rooms if you were in the hallway. Once inside our rooms it wasn’t as bad but we are pretty easy sleepers and other guests were very respectful."

"Room was clean, besides the black crust from the toilet. Staff was the best part. Parking was, parking. Not many ppl there when I went. Air conditioning worked and the hot water was nice. BUT!! The outside window to my room could be opened by a 4yo that's curious. Rotted out windows. Refrigerator didn't work in the room. Vending machine didn't work. Nothing worked. THE WINDOWS!! Never been so scared to go to sleep in my life. And I camp outside with bears and stuff"

"Checking in wasn't too bad once we figured out where to go. The shower stopped up the first night so I called the front desk and was told 'I will let maintenance know" We never saw them or heard from them. So the next morning, I let housekeeping know about it being stopped up again and was told again....I will let maintenance know. Still nothing from anyone. "A family owned motel that was family friendly. My son really enjoyed the water slide and I appreciated the hot tub after a day walking around Cedar Point. I really appreciate that they thought to give us cold water bottles upon arrival which we needed after a day at the park. The breakfast was decent not just continental and included a pancake maker, boiled eggs, yogurt, baked goods, and cereal."

"A very clean hotel with great customer service. The breakfast buffet was great each day with nice assortment of food. The caricatures of the hotel come around and meet the kids and they have activities planned. The beds were smaller than we are used too but overall was a great stay. Waterpark is alot of fun"

"We love staying at the Clinton Inn primarily for its location. The lake-front lawn, with lounge chairs facing the water, is magical as the sun sets over the nuclear tower to the west, and herons, egrets, and gulls soar back and forth, along with the activity of marine traffic. "Had a little trouble checking in because we booked third party and didn’t get the instruction text. However we were next door to a very loud dog and the staff went above and beyond to allow us access to another room away from the dog if it was still barking at bedtime. Luckily it was not and quieted down when the people came back from dinner. But the offer was very appreciated. I also liked having 3 separate beds when traveling with teenagers. Thank you!"
