Good over night stay

The staff here were absolutely AMAZING!! So helpful and so friendly!! My friends and I will recommend this hotel to anyone staying here! The young men working offered several time to help with our bags, the sweet ladies at the desk did everything they could to make our stay as smooth as possible, and the sweet lady at breakfast was just precious!!

Good Place to Stay

Our stay was fine, check in was fast, room was nice, breakfast was ok. The only problem we had was the TV, young man came and reset it but it didn't work but a few minutes, I didn't call him back.

Great people and rooms, wifi lacks

Check in was great, the lady was very nice and informative. Room was huge, clean, and well stocked. The only complaint is that there was no wifi information and it must ot be very good because even on the tv system it was painfully slow. Pandora couldn't make it thru a whole song without buffering for minutes at a time. Other than that it and its people are A+.

Hotel

Hotel is outdated, the halls smell rotten and old. The Rooms were just okay, there was sthair on the floor in the corners of the bathroom, the cabinets were sticky in the kitchen, and the remotes did not work. Locks on the door were a bit loose and the fireplace did not work. Blinds and curtains were torn and broken. The staff was very nice and we loved the breakfast lady, she made us feel so welcome. Breakfast lady took care of us and did an accelerated job to make sure we had what we needed.

There was hair in the shower long hair. Soap residue when the soap dish. I look like the shower was not cleaned I did not go and complain at the front desk I just washed and cleaned it myself. Also the sink in the dining area wasn't even clean everything else was in good shape

Room great, but some issues

I really hate to criticize since the front desk staff was so nice, the breakfast was wonderful and so was the room. But I booked this hotel as a rare getaway for my wife, and the LED mirror in the bathroom was flashing. Seems minor, but maintenance came in and told me all of them are doing that. It made my wife's life difficult to put on makeup with very little lighting. The front desk told me later that not all the lights were shorted. It would have been nice for maintenance to tell me that so we could have moved to another room. Also, ice machine was out of order. I do expect more from this class of hotel

The staff was friendly and courteous. The room was clean and in good condition. There were a few concerns. There was a shortage of towels, I could not contact anyone by using the phone in the room for any services. We discovered that 3 out of 4 windows were unlocked. These windows were on the 1st floor on the side of building adjacent to a wooded area which is a safety concern.
