"They were remodeling which was fine, except the workers blocked the rooms. They were also banging an hammer on Sunday evening ant 9pm. The ice machines, and vending machines everyday. Key cards stopped working 3 times. One of the two ice machines was out of order."

"The room was beautifully decorated, but lacking a lot. It was small, especially the bathroom, so there was practically no room to put our toiletries down. The pillows were lumpy and the mattress didn’t breathe - - it was hot (probably bc of a waterproof covering?). The hotel is no where close to retail or restaurants, so I don’t know why parking was not free…it was a hassle to do the QRcode paid pkg for a petty $5. No complimentary breakfast. "

"Stayed two nights for a college visit. Just about 10 minutes from Chapel Hill. Hotel room and bathroom were updated and clean. Staff was friendly. Comfortable beds and pillows! One downside was the AC unit wasn’t working properly and our room was pretty stuffy and hot. Staff said the maintenance comes only once a week so it could not be repaired during our stay. "

"Aloft in Chapel Hill Saved Our Trip!! We actually had booked at a different hotel for our short visit to Chapel Hill and it was gross, smelled terrible, and was a little scary just to be honest. So we quickly checked right back out and found ALOFT - Thank Goodness!!! From the second I walked in the lobby door I felt at home and welcomed! Staff is friendly, helpful and just plain fantastic with my every question and request. The entire hotel had the most wonderful clean fragrance. The room was just what we needed, clean and again had a nice clean fragrance. On site gym was very nice. And the lobby lounge area had a great fun/homey atmosphere where everyone could feel comfortable. Will definitely stay again if we visit Chapel Hill!!! "
