Pris og kvalitet passer ikke sammen

Havde anmodet om dobbeltseng, men 2 enkeltsenge var skubbet sammen, så der var en træramme midt i sengen. Intet sted at sætte sine ting på badeværelse. Hverken ved vask eller bruser. En meget lille garderobe og ellers intet sted at gøre af sit tøj. 4 dages ophold i miniværelse.

Værelset lugtede lidt af kloak, vi fandt årsagen se billedet. Hotellet har været fint for 20 år siden men virker meget slidt. Morgenmaden under middel så opvarmede købe pandekager.

Ok til formålet. Morgenmaden er opgraderet, men lidt bake off agtig. Det unge personale er virkelig venligt og imødekommende - de giver en ekstra stjerne og er den bedste ting ved stedet og trækker op. Prismæssigt matcher hotellet ikke kvaliteten. Radisson er oftest billigere og har en bedre helhedsoplevelse

Dejligt ældre hotel tæt på alt i Silkeborg. Morgenmaden er dog ikke DKK 150 værd - Kaffen smagte ikke af noget.

Unhappy!

They told me I could park through the hotel at a parking but obviously I couldn’t since I got a very expensive parking ticket! One person from staff said yes when I checked in and another said no when checking out, terrible!

Flot beliggenhed!

Genial placering midt på gågaden så det ligger tæt på Silkeborgs restauranter og butikkerne/gågaderne. Parkering muligt bag hotellet men til 130,-/døgn. Der er også offentligt p-plads små 100 m væk, men hotellet oplyste ikke adressen før vi var ankommet selvom vi ringede forinden. Hotellet virker okay men måske en smule slidt idet at sengene knirkede og møblerne så ud til at have lidt år på bagen. Men rigtig fint hotel!

En gammel dame. Det tidligere fine hotel i Silkeborg er slidt og træt. Interiøret svarer ikke til facaden. Sen tjek ind. Dyrt. Dårlig morgenmad.

Rimeligt hotel.

Det larmede fra ventilationsanlægget i gården, i en grad så det forstyrrede ens søvn. Morgenmadsbuffeten var lidt kedelig. Pandekagerne var kolde, og der manglede orangejuice.

Ikke et 4-stjernet hotel

Hotellet er på ingen måder i nærheden af 4 stjerner, men er helt sikkert et uden mærket turisthotel på 2-3 stjerne. Efter 2 gange at have efterspurgt renehåndklæder kom de lige som skraldespande blev tømt fra de tidligere gæster. En morgenbuffé hvor kaffen er automat-pulver kaffe(!), så kan hotellet ikke kommer over 3 stjerner nu om dage – men der er flere cafe’er op gågaden som har rigtig god kaffe. Ovenstående sammen med at hotellet generelt trænger til renovering (huller i vægge etc) gør at det er et helt fint turisthotel, men en 4-stjernet oplevelse det kommer det ikke i nærheden af. Der er vandrehjem som har en højre kvalitet.

Dårlig afslutning

Alt var godt indtil den sidste dag. Jeg arbejdede og min hustru shoppede. Havde spurgt om brug af toilet når jeg hentede hende. Intet problem fik hun af vide. Da jeg hentede udenfor hotellet ville min hustru låne toilettet inden afgang til Sjælland. Intet problem sagde den unge kvinde i receptionen. En ældre kvinde blandede sig og sagde at begge toiletter var stoppet! “Du må gå over i Føtex og gå på toilet der” var svaret. Sikken en gang løgn!
