"VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH STAFF - our other trips were enjoyable- this one was deplorable. We arrived at 4:00pm on Friday evening. They put us in a room directly below the renovation of the 2nd floor. When the constant hammering began Saturday morning we understood, they said it would end by 3:30. I left the room I paid for until 4: 30. I returned hoping they were done. But to no avail the hammering continued. I went to the front desk which had a sign stating the construction would end at 3:30, it...

"Very clean room and comfortable bed. Free breakfast was good. The only mild nuisance was the noise of the climate control motor (not sure what it was) or something that would turn on for 5 ot 10 seconds then turn off then come back a few minutes later. "

"We loved it here! The motel was centrally located, was a great value and by far one of the cleanest and nicest places we've stayed at in Ventura. I met, who i.think was the owner, upon check.out and he was very nice and friendly and welcomed us to return. We'll definitely be back! "

"Free parking. Poorly cleaned bathroom with hair wad in tub and dirty grime between floor tiles. Dirty bathroom ceiling vent with caked up dust. Cabinets with worn and rotten wood(maybe due to proximity to beach and salty air). Place could use better property management and upgrades from the owner. Much more pride and dignity can be given to the hotel. It’s all about the small things and attention to detail that make a stay great, even for lower-end inns and spaces. It’s about principle and...

The reception staff weren’t the best, maybe it’s just certain people but they had the vibes of “didn’t want to be there.” Besides that, the cleaning staff as well as who I talked to by the buffet breakfast service were wonderful! Overall great place, close to a great strip of food and drinks and movie theater."
