"While it was on a busy street and difficult to find where to park, the manager was amazing and helped us with our suitcases. The rooms are located above the restaurant and there is no elevator but it was only one flight of stairs. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. There is no A/C so it was a little hot because we couldn't open the window."

And not just doing little things, but things rarely done now. They happened to ask about our plans for the day and when they heard we had a full day travel trip they made us a goodie bag with treats and apples. "We spent ten days traveling around Scotland, and this was our favorite hotel. It has beautiful architecture, interiors, and rooms. Great amenities and - the piece de resistance - the best air conditioning we experienced in the whole of the UK. Would love to return! "
