The hotel is great. In a great location with a lot to see. Many restaurants and bars, lots of night markets. The beach is great and the pool is nice. Breakfast was great. No complaints

Beautiful small hotel in a great location . The private beach area was calm and the staff were very helps and polite. The pool was wonderful and had shower and toilet facilities near by. The bar outside had a nice offer of panini and drinks delivered pool side. The breakfast buffet was wonderful ! Lots of fresh fruit, meats, hot and cold offers. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Parking on site for 25 euro per day walking distance to great restaurants and gelatiere. The rooms were spotless and beds were comfortable.

Ormai sono anni che torno. La struttura ed il personale sono una garanzia. Il giardiniere rende gli spazi esterni meravigliosi e colorati. Chef eccellente per chi sceglie di mangiare in struttura. Il servizio è impeccabile sotto ogni aspetto: cura dei dettagli, cortesia e grande attenzione al cliente. È proprio la qualità dello staff a fare la differenza e a rendere questa struttura un posto in cui si ha davvero piacere di tornare.

Fabulous hotel - excellent location, complimentary sunbeds/umbrella, beach directly off hotel pool. Breakfast was a great selection and beautifully presented. Staff so lovely and helpful. Room was relatively spacious. Complimentary bicycles was a real bonus as Silvi is so easy to explore on bike. Absolutely amazing wine bar opposite. Highly recommend and would go back in a heart beat

The hotel has direct access to the beach and has a beautiful pool area. The bedroom was clean and cozy, had AC and a beautiful terrace. There's also a parking lot in the hotel, but they charge it separately (25 euros / day). Towels for the pool are also charged separately. However there a spot on the beach with chairs, a sun umbrella, and recliners as part of the room reservation. Amazing place! The food could be improved for lunch, but breakfast was excellent. Thank you.

Hotel muito giro com praia privada. Na altura qua fomos estava quase vazio mas foram bastante profissionais e simpáticos. O pequeno almoço é bastante bom. Os espaços comuns bem tratados tanto no interior como exterior. Quarto bem decorado e prático embora pequeno. O único ponto negativo é o parque do hotel que é bastante caro e podiam ter em atenção que estava vazio. O valor indicado no hotels.com é de 15€ mas foram-nos cobrados 25€ por uma noite.

This hotel is wonderful… it’s old-style hospitality at its best, and very romantic. The grounds, pool and beach are fabulous, and spotless. Breakfast is fresh, varied and plentiful… staff friendly and accommodating. There is a mercato not far from the hotel where you can pick up some deli bits, fresh bread and fruit for lunch on your balcony (room has a fridge). Silvi itself has seen better days - although some decent pizzerias, seafood places and gelateria can still be found on the main drag. If you are looking for high end restaurants and shops this location is not for you. But if you are looking for a lovely simple beach break this is perfect.

Ein schönes Strandhotel mit großem Garten, sauberem Pool und einem schönen privaten Strand mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen. Die Lage ist sehr gut und das Frühstück ebenfalls. Besonders positiv waren das sehr gute Abendessen sowie der freundliche Service im Restaurant und an der Bar. Auch die Getränke an der Bar auf der sonnigen Terrasse waren sehr gut. Die Zimmer sehen genauso aus wie auf den Fotos, waren aber sehr sauber und ruhig. Die Betten bequem. Die Zufahrt zum Parkplatz ist etwas eng und mit 25 € pro Tag ist das Parken recht teuer. Eine angekündigte Ladestation für Elektroautos war leider nicht vorhanden. Das Dreibettzimmer war von der Größe her für wenige Tage gerade noch in Ordnung. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt würde ich auf jeden Fall ein größeres Zimmer empfehlen.

Step back in time, brign an Italian phrasebook

The hotel is very dated, but in a quirky, fun way. It's like going back in time in an Italian romantic movie. The staff are very polite, very welcoming, highly accommodating. The pool is beautiful and the private beach is gorgeous. The room is clean, but not exceptionally comfortable.

Sehr Schönes Familienhotel direkt am Strand

Wir hatten ein sehr schönen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Es wird dort deutsch englisch und französisch gesprochen. Die Zimmer sind gut und sehr sauber. Ein reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet ist immer mit frischen Obst und allen anderen aufgefüllt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Restaurant ist sehr gut es gibt dort sehr köstliche Fisch und Fleischgerichte sowie Spezialitäten aus der Region. Begleitet werden die Mahlzeiten von sehr guten Weinen aus den Abruzzen. Vollpension ist aus unserer Sicht zu Empfehlen ! Der Swimmingpool und der Sandstrand ist sehr schön. Liegen und Schirme sind kostenlos und großzügig aufgestellt . Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt dort. Wir werden das Hotel wieder besuchen.

Mejor de lo que se aprecia en las fotos.....

Nos quedamos con una excelente impresión del Hotel y de la cordialidad de sus empleados. Tuvimos, asimismo, el placer de conocer y conversar largamente con Roberto Mion, su propietario. Un lugar que cuida hasta el último detalle y, realmente, es impecable. La única mención es que el tamaño del baño resulta un tanto pequeña.

A BEAUTIFUL RELAXING HOTEL

Avery nice hotel with a beautiful pool set on a well kept clean beach.Staff could not be friendlier or more helpful. Many of the staff spoke excellent English and those that did not always tried to help ( perhaps we should learn Italian). Rooms were very clean, perhaps a little small.

Schöner Badeurlaub

Wir hatten 4 Nächte gebucht! Das Hotel generell ist ein schönes Badehotel mit sehr schönem Strand - und Poolbereich! Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon zur Strassenseite. Das Zimmer war sehr klein, und ist auch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sehr sauber. Wir hatten das Pech einer Verbindungstür und einen Nachbar der um 2 Uhr das TV eingeschalten hat und ausserdem schnarchte wie eine Kreissäge, generell sind diese Zimmer eher hellhörig. Es ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert ein Zimmer mit Meerblick zu buchen. Wobei man durch die doppelten Balkontüren von der Strasse und der Prommenade nichts hört. Die Halbpension ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen, auch wenn der Preis anfangs hoch erscheint. Das Essen ist sensationell gut und die Auswahl und der Service, sowie das Ambiente (auf der Terrasse wird 4 Euro p.P. Servicegebühr verlangt) hervorragend. Die Liegen und Sonnenschirme (sonst 15 Euro p.P.) sind beim Preis der Halbpension ebenfalls inkludiert. Die hoteleigenen Parkplätze (14 Euro p.T.) sind etwas überteuert, denn man kann auch auf der Strasse kostenfrei parken. Achtung an Wochenenden und Feiertagen!

A refined hotel - but with a sting in its tail

I stayed at the Mion hotel for 7 nights together with my two young daughters. The hotel easily outsmarts its rivals in Silvi; indeed Silvi was disappointingly run-down with decrepit infrastructure and a rather threadbare feel to the amenities... more Scunthorpe rather than San Tropez. I would suggest that 7 nights was too long in Silvi, perhaps a short break to enjoy the hotel, warm Adriatic Sea and nice local pizzerias and Gelateria would have been better; otherwise, there is little else on offer. Mion, on the other hand, is immaculate – beautifully maintained by its family owners and supported by a sophisticated multi-lingual staff. While the room was modestly proportioned, the hotel has a five star feel to it and a high attention to detail with a truly fabulous eating terrace which looks out at an immaculately clean swimming pool and private beach area. We dined twice in the stunningly refined restaurant. The four course meals offered among the finest Italian food we had ever enjoyed with wonderfully prepared seafood complimented by a service that was second to none. So, the Mion is worth sampling for its oasis like luxury in not so nice Silvi. But one sting in the tail. Understandably, the high level and quality of service does not come cheap, and there are a series of surprising surcharges for just about everything. However when I queried that my final bill appeared to overcharge me by around 300 euros, the reaction of the staff was hostile. Fortunately, I had kept a record of my expenditure and when I presented this they demurred and quickly rectified the bill. However, they did this very coldly and offered no apology – and the final goodbye was an uncomfortable awkward affair... not becoming of the level of service I had become accustomed to. Therefore, my overall rating reflects this unpleasant experience.
