"Plus points + 1. Clean and modern 2. Very friendly front reception staff during the day, less accommodating in the late evening. Breakfast is very good and reasonably priced. Big minus point - 1. This is NOT walking distance from downtown Amsterdam, it is one train journey away to the busy Central train station Amsterdam and train can run on a delay. The area feels like a nondescript business-mini-high- rise area of no character so as a tourist to the city it was a very disappointing choice. Would not recommend it to tourists visiting Amsterdam to enjoy the May delights of central Amsterdam because after all the walking, cafe visits, restaurants, museums etc which tourist wants to trundle down into the large central station to take a train out of the city?! 2. Very pricey for the fact that it is NOT central. 3. Our room was very small with two small size twin beds and we could hardly walk around them without almost hitting into the wall mount tv opposite them. Not worth the high price we paid"

"Quiet room (requested one specifically), very clean and good smelling lobby, room includes kitchen with microwave which is super helpful for meals, and the room size was spacious. It’s super close to a major transit station so you’re about 30 mins to all the attractions and neighbourhoods."

"Convenient location as you just need to walk a short distance to get public transit. There are also 3 grocery stores nearby, even closer than the transit stops. Bright room with big windows, modern bathroom & comfortable bed. Only complain is the shower knobs. They're very difficult to turn especially when your hands are soapy."

"Initially, when I messaged the property before going on my vacation they never bothered to reply. I waited a whole week, I called & was connected to their central reservation service. They gave me incorrect information that bus 18 stops directly outside the hotel, it’s 10mins walk from the bus stop. The hotel is away from the main tourist areas, I mostly used uber, Tram 13 stops 3/5mins walk from the hotel but currently due to some changes it’s not going directly to the Amsterdam Centraal Station. You need to get Tram 17 first & then change to Tram 13. Their bathroom is appalling, it gets flooded when you have a shower or wash your face (if you are of petite structure like me). Secondly, there’s a section behind the bed with hangers, it’s not designed for short people perhaps a very very tall person. Lastly, the room is poorly lit, if you want to enjoy & read a book, there’s no proper headrest. I really did not enjoy my stay at this hotel. However, the staff tried to make my stay a bit comfortable. I was offered free breakfast for the duration of my stay & a fruit basket was left in my room as an apology but I didn’t get the chance to have any of that. I am very disappointed with Leonardo Rembrandt Amsterdam. It was waste of money & added stress to have booked this hotel."

"This hotel and its wonderful staff saved our honeymoon! Our original hotel lost our booking and gave us the smallest room with a communal bathroom instead of the en suite we paid for. We tried to tough it out but since we hadn’t brought shower shoes or toiletry baskets for a shared bathroom situation and wanted more privacy and comfort, we found a room at The Tire Station and went there to book it. The staff at the front desk/coffee bar were so welcoming and helpful that we immediately knew we made the right decision. Our room was spacious and clean with a huge window overlooking the street and nearby canal. Only issue was that there was a bit of mold in the shower, but everything else seemed clean and new. It is a quick walk to Surinameplein tram station, Vondelpark, and Cafe Schinkelhaven. They have a half price coffee hour from 8 to 9 AM and a free glass of wine for guests from 5 to 6 PM. We had the breakfast one day and it was delicious! Eggs, granola, yogurt, cheese, bread, pastries, and lots of vegan options as well. Again, the staff was amazing and friendly and we would love to go back someday—maybe for our anniversary! Thank you! "

"The tram stop right across from the hotel was a major perk! The rooms were fine but was missing the iron and ironing board. Desk staff was super friendly and able to get items within an hour of asking for them. A bit away from the hustle and bustle of the main area but only about 25-45 minutes by tram/bus to most of the city. Nice area with a park across the street and some delicious food only a few blocks away. Property is drug and alcohol free in case that matters to you. Did find a plastic bottle under one of the beds when we forst went in so unclear o er how truly clean everything was but it seemed fine. Did not have the breakfast because it was 20€"
