"We arrived on 1st May for a 3 night stay. it was the first day of the season and the hotel team were very welcoming. Our twin room was very comfortable, clean & spacious. Slightly dated having been built 20 years ago but very adequate. The breakfast was exceptional; so many choices from fruits, cereals, cooked eggs etc,, yoghurts, pies & salad & a large array of pastries, desserts & sweets. The pool area was also very lovely, plenty of space & many double loungers with clean towels every day. I worked out in the gym most days, alone, & appreciated the equipment. We hired a car so got to travel the island, had we stayed just at the hotel & local beach we may have had a different Experience. We enjoyed coming home to the hotel & pool and ate there twice during our stay. The restaurant served excellent food, fairly pricey for the portion but delicious & well presented. Our only complaint was that the housekeeping staff were very noisy chatting & laughing in loud voices when we were still trying to sleep. One night they opened up the patio door (unbeknown to us) & we were bitten to bits by mosquitoes in the night. We make a special shout out to the breakfast team & the catering manager who worked tirelessly to ensure all had a good experience. I’d be very happy to return to Thalassa resort. "

"Our family of five had a great stay at the hotel! The hotel itself was lovely, and the staff were very accommodating, which made a real difference. The interconnecting room setup was perfect for our family, providing the space and convenience we needed. However, we did find the rooms rather small. At over £400 per night, we felt the size didn't quite match the price point, and a slightly larger room would have been appreciated. The pool area, while fun, can get very busy very quickly. We also noticed that there seemed to be a shortage of sunbeds to accommodate all the guests. Despite the minor issues with room size and pool capacity, we still had a wonderful and memorable family stay. "

"The staff at this hotel made you feel like family. It’s small, 25 rooms. We had a balcony overlooking the ocean, so did four other family members. The views were amazing and two out of nine nights we got to see fireworks.The rooms were clean, air-conditioning was great. The beds were comfortable. And my grandkids loved the breakfast. The tubs were a little tricky to get in and out of for my 84-year-old mother but for everyone else it was fine. Yanni was the best bartender and he can make a great latte. I highly recommend this hotel. I would go there again. "

"Stunning hotel with beautiful architecture and pool design. Olea is a great choice for couples looking to relax, with excellent on-site restaurants and a calm atmosphere. The staff are friendly and clearly try hard, though at times the attentiveness wasn’t quite at the level you’d expect from a hotel of this standard. Overall, a very good option for a relaxing stay in Zante."
