"We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. "

"This is a 2 star hotel yet the only drawback we found was the warmth of the rooms in summer. Given the sash windows I suspect it has listed building status and therefore not much they can do about it. However, modern fans can work wonders.
Otherwise, it was a perfect base for exploring Pembrokeshire."

"We had a very comfortable room, the breakfast was great, especially with the view of the sea and sky. Overall, we had everything we needed for a very pleasant nights stay. The location is amazing."

"Great location next to the yacht haven, with nice restaurants nearby. Don’t be tempted to park next to hotel to load/unload though. I did for 10 mins and picked up a £60 fine. The hotel has its own car park a little further down the road."

"A unique hotel. The inside, whilst being modern with all the amenities you would expect and more, still maintains a 'castle' feel. The staff were super friendly and attentive and provided sound advice when asked about the local area. A good choice for breakfast, which was excellent. A really fantastic stay."

"Eins der schönsten Hotels in denen wir je übernachtet haben. Wunderschöner ruhiger Garten, leise Umgebung, abseits der Stadt im Wald. Frühstück nicht sehr umfangreich aber sehr lecker. Leider keine gekochten Eier."
