"We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful room. The FIFA semi-finals were available for guests to watch in a lovely, welcoming, separate building. Had a great time and wish we were there for more than one night."

"The staff were extremely helpful when we suffered a bad experience with our food on our first night's stay. Stick to the basic meals on the menu, like the burgers and fish and chips! We booked a bed, breakfast and evening meal deal for 2 nights, to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but, on reflection, should have booked everything separately, because we would be over £100 better off!! Apart from being placed at the worst, and least private, table in the restaurant, we only had a limited menu...

"The room was very clean , comfortable bed and crisp white linen and towels. Lots of hot water for a nice hot bath . The lady on reception was very friendly and welcoming. We arrived late in the evening so didn't drink in the bar. The breakfast was brilliant, good quality produce and good coffee. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and attentive. We will definitely stay again when travelling south . Although rooms a little dated, they were very spacious , clean and neutrally...

"Disappointing stay raised with the manager but no meaningful resolution. The staff were friendly and the room had some positives, including clean linen, a good-sized TV and convenient parking, but unfortunately the overall experience was very poor. The hotel felt in need of a thorough clean and better maintenance. There was thick dust on ledges and surfaces, smeared glass, sticky breakfast tables, dusty artificial plants and noticeable limescale in the bathroom. The extractor fan did not work,...

"My room was super clean and tidy with everything you may need. All the staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful. Private parking just outside my room. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. I ate dinner here which was simply supeb"
