Property itself was clean and functional. While the kids running the desk were pleasant, there was a lot of confusion surrounding my booking. I secured a room via Expedia which said check in was at 3pm. Upon arrival I was told that was not the case and check in was at 4pm, so I left and then checked in around 5:30. Around 9:30pm I get a banging on my door by the front desk staff and an officer. They had placed me in the wrong room— but not my fault, they’d sort it out with the other patron. Then I get called close to 10pm to come up to the desk so they could fix the registration. He assured me I still be paying the price as said on Expedia. Next morning I get a text saying they need me to come up because they “think they fixed the problem.” As I said, the kids handling this were kind and respectful, and mistakes happen—but this should have been handled in a different way. Not someone banging on my door at 9:30pm or having me come up in my pajamas to sort a problem that was not caused by me.
