"Great staff, lovely atmosphere, beautiful building. No denying this is a wonderful hotel!! Arguably the best Hotel Downtown… But the cracks are starting to show (literally). I hope the management spend their budgets looking after the place, when it’s gone it’s gone."

"Had a very nice one-night stay at the Sheraton. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and we had a nice view of the city and some of the bridges. It’s very convenient to the center city, with a light rail stop a short walk down the street and only 2 stops to get into town. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. If you are into running there’s a nice long trail right along the River. We were there for a concert at PPG and it was perfect."

"The room was beautiful and clean ! Very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean , very big and also bright ! Lighting was very good !"

"As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the valet drivers. They were very kind and very informative. We were able to check in quickly and early. The room was fantastic. The bathroom is HUGE and everything was very clean. The only downside to our stay was that there were only two functioning elevators ( they reported a recent flood took out the rest). Breakfast was subpar. Overall would highly recommend the hotel for the rooms, the convenience and the friendliness of the staff."

"Beautiful building, friendly staff, gym was great. It has everything you need. Walking distance to everything and the valet service is top notch. So quiet inside the apartment too, you don't hear any neighbors or noise from upstairs. Thanks again, we will stay here again when visiting Pittsburgh."

"I had to find a place to stay that was close to the hospital. I came upon this hotel and was so thankful we did! They were more than nice at the front desk. Very friendly people. The bed was the most comfortable bed ever!"

"This is the second time I have stayed at the Oaklander. The first time there were stains all over my sheets. They were changed. This time the pillows were wrinkled and did not smell fresh. I had to request new pillow cases. It’s a beautiful hotel but when they tell you they are inspecting your room before you go in beware, you better inspect it yourself. Housekeeping was very courteous when they changed the pillow cases. One bright point. Very disappointing for such a beautiful hotel."

"The hotel was great save for two things: the bed was super soft and mushy with zero support. My poor back. And though the breakfast was terrific, the coffee was horrendous— thin, watered down tea. You can do better."
