"Fosshotel Hellnar sits in a stunning natural setting, but the hotel experience was surprisingly modest for a 3‑star property. Coming from Fosshotel Myvatn, the contrast in quality was striking. "Es war ein kleines Zimmer mit Blick auf die Straße. Sehr kleines ruhiges Dorf, also wenig Verkehr. Die Matratze war etwas weich, ansonsten war es ganz gut. Man hat den Aufzug und die anderen Zimmertüren jedoch immer gehört, was ziemlich störend nach einiger Zeit wurde. Das Frühstück war lecker, jedoch begrenzt auf eine Wurst, einen Käse, etwas Marmelade, Brötchen und Gemüse."

It was also a very sociable space. The property has a lot of stairs, if that bothers you. It's a nice quiet location too, great views, but the whole village has great views. I just wish I could have spent two nights here. "
