"Absolutely gorgeous historic hotel. Wonderful old funicular takes you up from the boat. Waterfall was absolutely gorgeous. Lots of trails through the property. Food in the restaurant was fantastic. Absolutely wonderful place. But it is a little isolated so make sure you plan accordingly."

"I had a booking issue that could have been easy to resolved by the management at the hotel (and by Expedia) but it was not and it cost me many hundreds of dollars. We reached out to the management several times and even tried to talk with them while at the hotel but with no luck as the management was not on premises. This is definitely a no frills place. The bathrooms are private but are not connected to the rooms which was inconvenient. It's very rustic for the price and it feels abandoned...
