Two tram sites 100 yards, St. Sophia practically in the hotel's back yard. Cars don't go directly to hotel as its on historical site but they drop or pick up about 50 yards away. We took Tram ride from Galata port to hotel. About $1.50."

They also offered a head scarf for us to enter the Mosque, so we didnt have to buy one - that was nice of them. "While quaint, realize that hotels such as this one do not offer all the amenities of a modern hotel. For example, we arrived during a warm spell in mid-April and wanted it cooler in our room. However, the building HVAC system had not been converted to summer mode so a/c was not available. Also, through extremely convenient to the Sultanahamet and its attractions, it is also right on the metro train line which is noise and potentially dangerous."
