"The Pool is really extraordinary. We loved it. We were there at the end of September. Be aware that it is right between all the hotel buildings = in summer its great because you get some shadow, but in September you can only use it in the morning hours (at least if you have little kids).
Other than that the whole hotel building is prettynew., actually its huge and sometimes its a little tricky not to get lost. Breafast was pretty good.

"A wonderful location. For access to seoraksan, you can’t get better than the Kensington as the road in/out of Seoraksan is congested. The facility itself is old and worn, and the decor aspires to provide the charm of an English establishment but falls short. Room was dusty, mirror smudged, and temp is difficult to moderate. "Great room luxurious and well laid out. King bed. Great over the top breakfast. For dinner for convenience one night we ate at the steak restaurant on site, somewhat pricey compared to other places we have eaten in Korea . We are not big eaters and we decided to split one full meal. It was delicious and plenty for us. Since we were visiting only for a short time, 2 nights, and were there to see seoraksan, we did not go to the infinity pool."
