"Awesome location, directly across the street from the beach. No AC in main part of house. AC ran great in all bedrooms. Hot tub was not operational, and there was not toilet seat on one of the toilets. Manager said owner was shipping one from US, but never arrived. No daily housekeeping, refrigerator did not get or stay cold. And taxis we arranged for pick up to leave, never arrived. We were allotted one towel per person, and had to ask to get them changed out. For girls that use towels...

"We had a wonderful time at Isla Holbox, this is my 3rd trip, and one of my favorite warm holiday spots! This time, I was with my two grandchildren, they loved staying at the fabulous home. The photos are very realistic, and the home is gorgeous, clean, quiet, safe and beautifully decorated. My only recommendation would be to improve the quality of the bed pillows. The beds were super comfortable, the pillows could use a refresh. Don't let that stop you from staying here - it was a 9.999 out...

"Place was phenomenal the only thing was the property was not ready on time we waited 48 minutes to get in because the Acura were cleaning there was no shampoo or conditioner.towels were k ok eft on the dryer because the were not ready and floor were wet . "

"1000/10 – ¡El mejor hotel en Holbox! Nuestra experiencia en Hotel Awa Holbox fue simplemente espectacular. Desde el momento en que reservamos, el staff y su director se aseguraron de que cada detalle estuviera cuidado. Nos apoyaron en todo: transporte privado desde el aeropuerto hasta Chiquilá, ferry de ida y vuelta, traslados al hotel, organización de tours y hasta masajes relajantes. Los restaurantes dentro del hotel son exquisitos, con platillos de primera calidad y una atención impecable. Realmente no hay necesidad de salir del hotel, ¡tienen todo lo que uno puede desear! El ambiente, las instalaciones y sobre todo la calidez del personal hicieron que nuestra estancia fuera inolvidable. Definitivamente es un lugar al que quiero volver, y me daré la tarea de recomendarlo con toda confianza. Si buscas un lugar excepcional en Holbox donde te consientan de principio a fin, Hotel Awa es la elección perfecta."

"If you don't want to be near the centre, this is perfect. The manager is exceptional - and works long hours (but there isn't a permanently manned reception, so service may not be available promptly). Rooms are basic - no fridge, would have liked a filtered water dispenser in the hotel and I had to move to have a room with a desk and chair (not all have them). I can't fault the service or cleanliness. You can see the sea - on the horizon, between buildings- but it isn't on the beach."
