"I loved it here, it was clean the food was great. The staff worked so hard to keep the beach as clean as possible. The only thing that made me sad was the cats on the property, I came across six of them in total a few of them in some desperate need of vet care, and one of them pregnant. I know they probably treat them as wild animals there but that’s a very tough place for a domesticated cat to live. The staff seemed to frown on anybody that was trying to feed them and they’re all so hungry. This was my first all-inclusive stay so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but it was a great time there"

"This is my favorite hotel in playa de Carmen.Since Hyatt has token over i think it’s even better.Entertainment crew was amazing… The start at Pelicanas for breakfast and lunch is a must.Sergio and the crew will be sure to take care of all your needs.Joseph at Spice will do the same.Had Adan for our groups cabana he took great care of us.Definitely will be back again next year.Make sure you tip these hard workers they go above and beyond."

"Really clean facility. Food was mediocre actually. The breakfast buffet is my favorite. Lots of options. But the dinner restaurants are the same old same old for all inclusive resorts. For a 5 star resort I expected the food to be better."

"We had a wonderful week at Jungala! The hotel was great… the room was huge and beyond what I expected! Separate master with en suite, full dining area, kitchen, and a lounge area with two sofa beds with a dividing wall where our 10 and 13 year olds slept - they also had their own bathroom and closet. Plus a huge balcony across the whole apartment! Tons of space. The whole Vidanta resort is beautiful. Everything is immaculate. As guests at Jungala we had access to all the pools and priority on the golf buggies to get around - although we walked a lot as the whole resort is connected with wooden walkways through the ‘jungle’. We did the waterpark one day - it’s fun but small so one day was plenty. We ate at different restaurants throughout the resort every night - all great food and service, although they are on the pricer side. We also went to ‘Joya’ which we all loved and would recommend. Spent a lot of our time at the ‘beach club’ - loved it! (FYI you do have to get there early to reserve a spot) Beach/ocean was a little disappointing as it’s very rocky so not really suitable for swimming. Service throughout the resort was faultless. The concierge team at Jungala were on hand 24/7, quick to respond and made our stay easy! We had such a relaxing, fun week… we don’t often revisit resorts but this could be an exception! Would highly recommend."

"Room stank of mold. An old man pulled down his bathing suit at the pool. The crowd was drunk and staff nasty. Terrible beyond. I checked out the same day. It was the worst experience I have ever had. I was also told I had a view of the beach and my view was trees!! Manager was unhelpful and was not willing to understand and provide a refund for a hotel that is supposed to be 5 stars but is probably 3 stars. No elevator, no class and I have travelled the world and this is the worst experience and worst hotel I have ever been too."

"Great venue. Good food, beautiful beach and great water to swim in. Clean everywhere and great staff. Seaweed was abundant but very nice to step in. Like grass."

"We like the fact that the entire staff was friendly and Courteous. They make everyone feel comfortable. They set the standard on work ethic in our opinion. We recommend this for future vacations as we plan on returning soon!!!"
