"We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a wonderful experience. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. The only issue we encountered was that the air conditioner leaked, soaking all of our clothes. Thankfully, the hotel staff handled the situation incredibly well and washed all of our clothing at no extra charge, which we really appreciated. One of the highlights of our stay was all the wildlife around the resort. We saw monkeys, macaws, deer, raccoons, and even some of the adorable rat-like animals native to the area, which made the experience feel very unique. The food was excellent! The main buffet had a huge variety of options, and the green chilaquiles were definitely my favorite. I recommend going early in the morning since it gets very busy later on. We also had lunch one day at the oceanfront buffet, and it was fantastic—the food was delicious, the service was excellent, and it was much less crowded. Paco’s Tacos and the pizza were also both delicious. Definitely make dinner reservations ahead of time—they’re absolutely worth it. Our favorite restaurant was the Italian restaurant, and we also really enjoyed the Oriental restaurant. The steakhouse, however, wasn’t our favorite and was the only dining experience we probably wouldn’t repeat. The beach is on the smaller side, but we were lucky enough to have beautiful, crystal-clear water during our stay. Another huge perk is that Xcaret Park is literally about a five-minute walk from the hotel entrance."

"We stayed the weekend of July 4th, definitely off peak season (about 60% capacity I think). Our goal was a quiet vacation with lots of relaxation, and this REALLY delivered! In spite of the roasting heat, I would definitely travel again off peak, specifically to stay in a room by the golden (quiet) pool where there are abundant shady pool chairs, poolside service, and daily visits from coatis, agouti, iguanas and so many birds. There was lots of ocean seaweed that was only minimally cleared due to sea turtle nesting season, however we got to see a huge mama turtle scooting back to the ocean during a sunrise walk! The staff were SO welcoming and observant, and we loved that we could pretty much keep to ourselves and not interact with other guests unless we wanted to."

"Rooms are nice and spacious . We stayed Thursday to Tuesday, in July. Staff were nice and the resort was fairly clean. Pool could have been cleaned better. Only one guy cleaned 2 massive pools in like and hour. Sometimes there were left over cups floating around. The staff at the bars were nice but the alcohol was terrible. They showed premium brands but did not taste like it and were watered down. The food at the buffet started out amazing and lots of options, but as the week went on the selection had got smaller and smaller. For the resort only being booked at maybe 40% we couldn't even get into the a'lacarte restaurants. I couldn't imagine in the winter. The resort always has staff pestering you to go on excursions and join there membership program, and they are everywhere. The resort is also located 50 min from the cancun airport so be prepared to pay $80 usd each way. I would say that it was OK for the price."

"Staff was super helpful upon arrival & during our entire stay. From the lobby staff to the dining staff and then service staff around the pool and around the property- all friendly and kind. Only downfall is that there isn’t easy access to the beach but the plenty of pools make up for it :)."

"Awww man where do I begin??? From the moment we got off our transport to the days we stayed there to my check out this morning, everything was excellent!!! Well kept , great hospitality, great customer service!! I wish I can request for you guys to ask for a specie person but that’s won’t be necessary. Because they are all amazing!"

"We had the best time with two young kids. The food was always delicious with some many options between the restaurants and buffets. The servers and staff were always helpful and accommodating to our children. Our concierge’s, Cielo and David, were especially helpful. They met every need we asked for. They handled all reservations for us and sent the schedule for the day every morning. Also, we were having an issue with house keeping coming to our room while our kids napped and they were able to schedule when house keeping would come. They helped arrange anything we needed and support in every question and request we had. They really elevated our time here. Will definitely come back and be booking through Expedia to get the concierge help again. Only downside was the beach was unusable due to the seaweed. But that’s a time of year thing and not the resorts fault."
