"The food was a bland.. "

"My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. All of the staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful. We had an issue in our room when we got there, called the front desk, and they fixed it in moments, sending us chocolates and a note in apology. Each time they found out it was our honeymoon, they brought us a dessert and congratulated us. The hotel also gave us a free ticket to Chef’s Plate, which was the greatest dining experience we had there. Pelicano’s was a little bit disappointing but Dolma far and away made up for it. One of the servers (it’s been a while but I think his name was Randy, a younger guy who usually works at Dolma or Spice) was absolutely incredible! He made sure that we felt privacy during our meals while also making sure we felt taken care of. We saw him several times throughout the week and I would call him a friend. Spice was delicious, which is amazing for a buffet. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here!"

"The rooms were clean and updated. The hotel itself needs some work done. When we stayed there the ocean was covered in Seaweed there was no where to swim by the resort so we always walked to another side by a different resort to swim in the ocean. The activity team by the pool were the best. Chocolate David , Carlos and the ladies. They made it fun and enjoyable. It was the best part of the trip. The restaurant food was pretty good and good service."

"-The room described on Expedia wasn’t the same size room in person. -food substitutes in restaurants such as sakuras were non existent -loud noise in mornings from construction when trying to sleep -tv is in Spanish. No English channels -Room service for Privilege members wasn’t sufficient"
