"Staff were friendly the whole time. They had beach chairs, beach towels, wake boards to use free of charge. Booking was seamless, room cleaning daily was excellent. Gated parking free of charge was really convenient as street parking is first come first serve. Have a restaurant/bar available in the facility. Right across the street from a beautiful sandy beach. It is a hidden gem it will not disappoint. Thank you guys for the great time!"

"The room was big! Large shower and balcony/ porch with a table and 4 chairs. For the price we were amazed. We were able to go to the rainforest and come back to dry all the shoes outside. The staff were all so friendly! The room did not have a safe and we left a laptop and iPad and had no problems. The room was quiet. The water pressure good. Beds were great. I would give 10 stars. I am so glad we stayed here and not old San Juan where we contemplated staying."

"Cute Place, But My Experience Was Disappointing
Calico VIP Guest House has a lot of character. The colorful walls, courtyard, fountain, and little decorative touches give it a cute Caribbean feel. I also felt safe while staying there, and that’s something I genuinely appreciated.
Unfortunately, the rooms were a different story. The first room had a strong mildew smell. Although the second room smelled better, I ended up dealing with a serious flooding issue that turned my stay into a stressful...
