"We arrived at the hotel. They gave us a lower classroom because the hotel was full. I explained that we had booked a business room and that we expect to get this room for the night. The front desk agent said that it wasn’t possible. She called the manager after I had informed them that we would leave the hotel. And then the room was available. The furniture is dated in the coffee machine leaked."

"The staff was very helpful, the beds are comfyand there is a wonderful view of the Aare River. Note that there is no AC and because we arrived during a heatwave, the staff provided us with fans. There are green spaces and a water park near by. The historic district of Solothurn is just across the river. I would stay here again."

"Great location; Enjoyed a delicious dinner with 4 Swiss friends in their restaurant. I suggest if this hot spell continues, they offer just a plain sheet on the bed, besides the quilts."

"It was the hottest week in years; no air conditioning and no fans. The staff was friendly and helpful. Since you have to go through the Mexican restaurant to get to the hotel rooms, we had a difficult time leaving early on the day of checkout."
