"Lovely warm room (I was there in winter - it becomes AC in summer), fantastic breakfast that fills you up till dinner and close to the Acropolis so you walk there in about 40 mins.
Vedat speaks great English and can offer help about the area and Nur is also very polite and friendly. A 7-min walk into the town and about a 20-min walk to catch the bus to Aliaga if going towards Izmir."
"I have stayed here three times. Each time has been a very enjoyable stay in Bergama and this guest house. I have stayed at nearly 100 hotels and guest houses in Turkey now and this is in the top five for me. "
"Tucked away inside a high wall a short walk from the town centre this hotel is a little oasis for your stay. The staff were efficient and the rooms comfortable. "
"This hotel is very much in the ‘faded grandeur’ class, which is what we liked. The room was huge (a suite with 2 rooms actually) but the main drawback was the tiny bathroom with a shower which indeed leaked, although there was a squeegee and a handy drain. No mosquito protection but luckily we didn’t see any. Breakfast in a very pleasant courtyard. Friendly dog and beautiful affectionate cat. Nice staff, not much English spoken so don’t rely on them for planning trips or transport, etc. Air conditioning fine. Brilliant position in the old town under the acropolis near the Red Basilica and walking distance to Asclepion."

What’s a holiday rental in Soma like?
Holiday rentals are private properties where you can stay for a few weeks, or just a few days, in Soma. Holiday rentals feature extras such as patios, hot tubs and fire pits so you'll feel just like you're at home. If you're concerned about a sanitised environment, a holiday rental can provide a sense of seclusion away from shared hotel lifts and lobbies packed with people while still allowing you to travel. You'll also have more space in a holiday rental than in a hotel, which makes a holiday rental an attractive choice for a small group gathering.
