"The hotel was very nice and the room and bathroom was clean and the sheets were lovely! We interacted with the evening (?) desk clerk Bridgette, and she was a doll! We asked for recommendations for ice-cream and she sent us to Dewster's, which was amazing! After we both had a short nap after our travels, we went back down to the desk and asked for dinner rec's, and after she shared her favorites, we ended up at Longhorns, again, a fantastic choice! "The room had a moldy/musty smell. The bed was really loud when you moved. The staff was very helpful and the room appeared clean."

"The pool is shutdown which is not listed on any website. My first room had ants on the bedside table. They charged a $30 early check in fee at 2 PM. Breakfast on Saturday morning at 9 am had nothing but cereal and coffee."

"The stay was not bad. Unfortunately our smoke alarm detector went off not once but twice within an hour at 2:30 AM. The first time it went off, the gentleman at the front desk said there was no fire and probably someone smoking nearby. The second time it went off, we went to the front desk and he came to the room and took it off saying it probably needed batteries. Needless to say not a restful night. The manager in the morning said, oh well there was nothing she could do about it as far as...

"Would give 5 stars except the pillows were not the greatest. Had to wad them up to get any support. Otherwise the place was great. Manager was super nice and helpful."

"It was definitely an "old school motel" but as I only spent the night and then continued on my travels, I didn't need more or expect anything more. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Check-in was easy as was check-out."

"The Gold Vault Inn is our "go to" place when we are in that area. The rooms are very comfortable and affordable. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. We have been going there for years and plan to continue ."

"Positive note, the staff was super helpful. The room was not clean. The sheets on both beds were disgusting. It was late when we got in so no time to stress or change rooms due to morning obligation. We slept in clothes on top of the sheets. I will not stay there again."

"Check in was simple. Room was very small (that's ok) Had a K cup coffee maker with no k cups or or drinking cups. No ice machine or ice bucket, the guys at the creamery gave us cups of ice. Hair dryer was falling off the wall and sounded like it was going to catch on fire. Toilet ran non stop. Shower curtain to short and all the water goes onto the floor. Only 2 towels. AC worked good and TV was nice. It has the potential to be a really nice place."
