The property was great, the staff equally as great, right in the heart of Sorrento and the main square. The area entering and exiting the property was a bit run-down and could use some minor renovations, but the property was between some apartment complexes with locals, so I'm sure the hotel owners don't have much control over the entire area. Other than the entry and exit, everything else was great.

The entrance to the hotel is very dirty. They have a huge need for a good pressure washer and a couple coats of paint. Most of the plants are dead. There is no pride of ownership to this hotel. The rooms are equipped with huge mirrors hanging over the bed. I didn’t realize we were staying at a place that rents by the hour. It was the creepiest place that I have ever stayed. However, the staff is very sweet and helpful.

This hotel was so lovely. Located quite close to the bus/train station and because it's on the main street, it was quite walkable to the shops, restaurants, and the harbor and beach areas (keep in mind pathways leading down are essentially long staircases). The included breakfast was quite nice, awesome selection. One tiny 'con' was that the lotion dispenser was empty during our entire visit (we simply shared our one personal tiny bottle). A suggestion might be to make clothes drying racks available (it helps when doing a bit of laundry of your personal items). Overall, we cannot say enough about the property and the bed was amazing!

I would highly Palazzo Martinelli! We felt so welcomed from the minute we arrived to the minute we checked out. The room was very big and there was a personal hot tub on the patio! We enjoyed the breakfast which is located on the roof top. A nice selection to choose from along with various items you can order off of their menu! I would highly recommend staying at Palazzo Martinelli!! The staff at the hotel was so nice and helpful!!
