"Problems are too numerous to mention so will provide the highlights. The good: Location - Onsite and the access road to the lodge are prime birding and butterfly and iguana areas. It's wonderful! Just ~10 minutes away from great local Sodas for good food. AC works, which is important in the oppressive heat this time of year. There is onsite food if you're desperate not to drive elsewhere. "Beautiful place. Away from the hustle of town. It was off season when we were there so it was very quiet. Restaurant was only open for breakfast and lunch. Pool was awesome. Lots of stuff to do during the day in the area and then head back for a relaxing evening. Monkeys would visit most afternoons. My daughter loved the resident cats and guard dog. The animals were as friendly as the staff. Thinking about bringing more family next year."

"We had an amazing time. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. The casino was small but still a lot of fun and they had a great happy hour. The hotel was beautiful and the pool. We had an ocean view balcony and it was so worth it. The bar by the pool had amazing drinks and good food. The service everywhere across the hotel was great. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to go back."
