"Great hotel right on the Promenade with fabulous sea views. The hotel has clearly seen better days, some of the furniture is quite worn but still perfectly serviceable. I’m sure some would complain that it looks tired but if you don’t mind that, for the price it is great. There’s a swimming pool and sauna, free parking, three good restaurants and it’s in a great position."

"Very helpful staff when we arrived to drop our bags off before we could check in. When we came back and went to our room it was lovely opening the door and having the view straight out on to the balcony as the doors had been left open to the balcony, we did pay a bit extra for the balcony but well worth it for seeing the trees and hearing the fountain in the atrium whilst reading, having a cuppa etc. Very convenient for the tram and bus plenty of places to eat. Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of choice. We ate in the pan Asian restaurant connected to the hotel food was excellent. We recommend and would go back"

"I really enjoyed my stay at the Manor House. I received a warm welcome from Matthew and enjoyed our conversation at check in. I was allocated an excellent room. A very comfortable bed with a good bathroom. Excellent facilities in my kitchen area. The chickens were great and I did enjoy seeing them. All the breakfasts I had during my stay were very good and Angie was very good with all the breakfast duties. The Manor House was a great location for me on this visit to the Isle of Man. On my next visit to the Isle of Man I will definitely check for availability at the Manor House first."

"I was given a warm welcome on arrival, and nothing was too much trouble during my stay. The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond. They made me a nice full English breakfast in the morning and there was everything else you needed for a decent breakfast including cereal, yogurt, orange and toast as well as tea. I asked about the 10am checkout and was told that because it’s not busy I could leave whenever I wanted. I would definitely stay here again if I ever needed to come to The Isle of Man again. I would live here if I could. Speaking as someone who spends a lot of time in chain hotels, the personal touch was really refreshing. Plenty of parking in the safe surrounding area also."

"Hotel is in a very central location with a bus stop right outside and train within walking distance. The staff and other locals we met were very welcoming and the food that we sampled during our stay was of a high standard. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds. Having the transport options close by enabled us to visit the various places we wanted to go to."
