"A lovely residence in the heart of the Medina with a wonderfully welcoming and helpful host. We had a good-sized room with small sitting area and comfortable bed, traditional decorations, and an enclosed balcony overlooking the interior courtyard where breakfast was served in the morning. "This hotel is very lgbt friendly. I had to flee another hotel due to homophobia and bigotry and the Hotel Sousseana was an excellent replacement and a safe haven too . Very friendly reception staff who were knowledgeable about the local area and respected my pronouns as a non binary person. Excellent breakfast every morning, friendly staff who respected my pronouns and great restaurants nearby . Multi cultural mix of people and a nice retro hotel . What’s not to like "
