"So glad we picked to stay at Despina Mare it really is one of the nicest places we’ve stayed. Despina herself was so helpful and arranged accommodation and taxis for us when we had to arrive a day early due to ferry strikes from Athens. The homemade cakes and pastries left in our room were the perfect added extra. The resort itself is beautiful and you are less than 5 minutes walk from the bars and restaurants. "Room was clean and the lady that assisted us at check-in and throughout our stay was very accommodating and informative providing valuable information to assist us during our short stay on the island. We stayed towards the end of the season so hotel was preparing its shut down until the following year hence not a lot of guests. Breakfast had a good variety of menu items. Not much in terms of eateries near the hotel "
