"03-Jan-2026 As San Diego locals we really enjoyed our end-of-year staycation at the Gaylord Pacific. Despite rain during our two day visit, we felt the staff did their best to accommodate us as much as possible. We rented a cabana near the pool for New Year’s Eve and Zakiya provided phenomenal service to our family of 6, which includes our four young sons. "Loved the room! Nice layout / architecture / design. The waterfront view was lovely to wake up to. And falling asleep to the waves? Unbeatable! Service at the front desk is also very friendly and warm :) Restaurant left something to be desired... especially for the price. But the room & concierge was fantastic!"

"This is a smaller place than I typically stay, but I would definitely stay here again. The staff is friendly, the rooms are a bit small, but very well designed and decorated. Breakfast was great and the parking lot is under camera surveillance. Tacos El Gordo is close by make sure to try it for dinner if you stay here. 10/10!"
