"Staff was super friendly and helpful. Location was pretty good at least with a car. We had a small issue where the plumbing was making a whistling sound in our room. I don't think it was happening when we first checked in and the night manager showed up immediately too look into it and somewhat alleviated the problem (I didn't notice it until my wife pointed it out, but it was too loud to ignore once she had without ear plugs). Other than that great stay."

"Beautiful architecture from the 1920s when Parliament House opened in 1927. Restored to perfection. All the staff were migrants and all outstandingly polite friendly and helpful and I loved Pixel the Labrador the ex sniffer dog who lives with the General Manager I believe
It’s an elegant statement of a bygone era and well managed. It’s a credit to everyone from front staff to the GM

Upstairs one level - no lifts. Difficult for over 75yo with mobility issues.
Advised by Reception they could NOT enter my stay here onto my ACCOR Rewards account!
This accommodation is NOT 4-star - maybe 3-star.

no power points next to beds
no bed lamp for bed #2
no spoons for tea/coffee
no extra/spare pillows
no room safe
bad draft under entry door (had to block with ironing board)
