"Great place and so close to the sand dunes! I will def be back here! The rooms have little sitting areas outside which I loved ! There’s hummingbird feeders and little hummingbirds flying all around! We got there later after the restaurant nearby had closed, but the hotel has frozen pizza you can buy and cook there so we did that! The lady in the office was very nice and friendly and when she heard we were leaving super early she gave us some things for breakfast, I wanted to give them a 5. But...

"Loved everything about this place! It was so beautiful and luxurious, but really comfortable and relaxing… not pretentious at all! We had cocktails in the speak easy, which was such a fun surprise! Jeremy was the best mixologist and was full of interesting facts about the history of the property .Then dinner in the restaurant… delicious. Our server, Teddy, was the best. The rooms were fantastic! Every detail well thought out… even a steamer for your clothes! Can’t say enough good things about...

"Unless you can sleep with tractor trailers driving by within 20 feet of you all night, do not stay here. Even with loud white noise and pillows over our heads, we slept a few hours at best. Add to that a terrible mattress, bad pillows, and a missing smoke alarm and this rates as one of the worst places we have ever stayed. Yes it was clean and yes there was hot water but if you are looking for actual sleep, do not stay here."

"The front desk felt like family. So friendly and excited about all that we might do during our stay. They totally hooked me up when I miscalculated how dirty I’d get four wheeling - I had checked out and they let me come back and use the room to shower. My daughter and I were filthy and when we walked in the door they gave us the biggest smiles and wanted to know how our adventure was- they truly wanted us to enjoy every aspect of our stay- with them and in Colorado.
