"The room did not have a smoke detector, which is concerning considering the way the lamp in the corner was wired. An ungrounded extension cord is plugged into the bathroom outlet, passes through the door opening, then the lamp is plugged in with a ground lift. This is not a temporary setup - the cord is mounted to the wall. The place is a dump."
