"Super cute little motel. The kids loved how small and "old school" the place was. The only downside was the ac is a window unit, so it was fighting hard to keep the room cooled. Also, the microwave was almost coming apart on the side, but we didnt end up needing to use it. Aside from that, would consider staying here again. As a side note, the room we had looked nowhere near as nice as what was pictured. Clean, but could use some minor repairs."

"The room was not very clean. It looked like nobody cleaned the floors. The tub looked very suspect also. The staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. It was $79 for a Saturday night. "Property was clean enough, bed was good and it was quiet. Breakfast was a disappointment, the "eggs" were egg whites and were out when we got there 50 minutes before breakfast stopped. They eventually brought some out, but I was expecting eggs not whites. They had biscuits but no gravy. I settled on a bagel, the toaster is so worn out that after three rounds on the high setting for bagels, they still weren't toasted at all. I settled for hot but not toasted. Coffee was good, juice was okay, but...

"We always enjoyed staying at the Tompkinsville Inn. We haven’t stayed in several years and we were very disappointed this time. The property has really gone downhill. The grass had not been mowed in some time. The pool was full of green water. There seemed to be no attempt at repairing or updating the property. And, they are charging $110 per night. We won’t be staying there, again."
